When opening and closing interior sliding glass doors, Klein offers two braking mechanisms to prevent the doors from slamming when you open and close it, exhibiting the reliability and durability inherent to the Klein brand. These systems are the enhanced KBS+ and KSC.
The new KLEIN Braking System (KBS+) improves upon the common stopper, protecting the glass and dampening noise. KLEIN Soft Closing (KSC) takes this a step further and provides a gradual door closing with the same protection and noise-dampening capabilities.
Our design team will make recommendations for what we think is the optimal braking system for your project. Ultimately, the decision to choose or KSC depends on the user experience and comfort you want to provide.
Through cutting-edge hydraulic dampers with multiple springs, we ensure excellent performance and durability – for either braking system – in the most demanding conditions. Silence, comfort, reliability: opening Klein sliding door systems requires very little effort, so even the little ones will be able to safely open our doors. You’ll recognize both braking systems by their signature red color – reflecting the passion Klein puts into using our experience and knowledge to create braking systems that surpass the expectations of our clients.
The Enhanced KLEIN Braking System: KBS+
KBS received some nice upgrades that improved the functioning of our popular braking system. KBS+ is a stopper premium, anti-jump, braking system that brakes the door along .79 inches. KBS+ is the standard braking system for all of the Klein+ line.
KBS+ is compact, elegant and quiet. The KBS+ retainer and damper set allows for a controlled, effective and brake to any Klein sliding glass door.

KLEIN Soft Closing: KSC
The KSC system provides 6 centimeters of extremely smooth braking, accompanying both wooden and glass doors through their entire movement, whether they are being opened or closed. KSC is an optional yet often recommended braking system offered exclusively on Unikglass+, Rollglass+, Lite Glass+, Lite+ and Lignea interior glass wall systems.
KSC is more than a simple stopper. Rather than providing a hard stop, it brakes the door so that it closes slowly along 6 cm. This provides a better, safer user experience.
- This compact and aesthetically pleasing device can be applied to narrow panes, starting at 31.5 inches in width.
- Protects glass for doors weighing up to 330 lbs.
- Silent, dampened closing removes any bounce back
