Great doors are as functional as they are beautiful. EXTENDO is a telescopic glass doors system designed to divide ambiances in a room. It accomplishes this through simultaneous sliding frameless glass doors providing a large opening with a minimal parking space. Now, KLEIN has released its newest product offering- an optimized EXTENDO version with an anodized profile in silver and matte black finish. The system offers more customization options and an easier installation process.
The EXTENDO synchronous sliding door system has been featured in thousands of projects around the world, and it allows the creation of large architectural openings with passageways of up to 16’ 8” with a single movement. This is effortlessly achieved as you open 2, 3, or 4-panel glass partitions. By moving just one pane, the others move at the same time to reduce the space required for the open doors.
Maximizing the experience of using and installing EXTENDO, the system includes smoother add-ons and the option to change the position of the doors on site. EXTENDO is ideal for partitioning offices, conference rooms, hospitality suites, and more. It is not only a dividing system, but a way to maximize openings in order to facilitate circulation and integrate this throughout the project interior.
Seamless door design provides simple and elegant connections. This new EXTENDO product includes a cleared passageway with no floor profile as a unified model. Now, there are the same references for right side and left side door openings. The door is secured by pressure clamps; no need for mechanized glass (tempered or laminated), and the design includes a mounted and tensed transmission system with 3/8” and ½” glass panels up to 10’ high. All together, these details work in tandem with a ball bearing system for smooth opening, as well as the option for mounting on a wall, ceiling or dropped ceiling.
